- It appears LG Electronics will release a wristwatch phone “like those seen in movies and elsewhere”.
- Men who use their credit cards to pay for prostitution are receiving text messages from the police helpfully informing them they have indicted and to please come down to the station.
- On the 13th in Yeouido some participants in a Democratic Labor Party event dressed up as candles and smashed blocks of ice emblazoned MB, for President Lee Myung-bak. (I have yet to encounter a Korean who doesn’t hate their president.)
- [A] drunken [English] teacher began teaching sex education to the students in words they could not understand, saying “the reason I’m not married is I don’t want to have kids like you,” and “Dokdo is Japanese.” (The articles printed in Korean news about native English teachers are so so so ridiculous. Hey, secrets out! All foreigners are immoral swine-flu-infested beings who barely make it to work because we’re always drunk or high.
