the transformation is almost complete

I suppose there are people who wouldn’t like to hear this, but I love it when people tell me I’m becoming Korean.  This guy I’ve seen a few times now always gets surprised when I know Korean songs or can understand some things he says.  I’ve heard him say this several times: “Wowww.. I think you are almost Korean!”  I can only respond with “Reeeeally??!”

Then my Korean friend today saw my toenails (alternating pink and purple), said they were cute, then “Laura, you are really turning Korean.”  Yesss.

I also semi-accidentally cut more bangs last night, which I guess only adds to it.  This all just means I’m probably going to have a major identity crisis whenever I move back to the States, and will only want to visit U of I in order to see lots of Koreans again.  Too bad I hadn’t gotten in on that scene when I lived there.
