So I posted this, well, six weeks ago, and now I am here.  See how amazing it is?  You can rent one of the “Balloons over Bagan” for $275.  I would feel awful being so exorbant here.  I highly doubt much of it ends up going to the local people, which is a huge thing you’re supposed to think about when traveling here.  Or anywhere, really, but especially here where the government does as much as they can to keep tourists’ money.
