baseball

On Saturday, I went to a Kia Tigers vs. LG Twins game with Agatha, Jade, and their co-workers.  (Other Korean teams include Samsung Lions and Lotte Giants, so it seems like teams are affiliated first with a company then second with a city.  Good example of Korea’s love for capitalism.)

Baseball games are nuts here.  We got there a little late, and had to either stand in the far back or find a seat on the crowded stairs somewhere.

LG side.

The stadium is in the city near my neighborhood, but instead of a view of high-rise apartments and ugly buildings like you normally experience in Seoul, we could see mountains on each side.  It was pretty.

Sitting on the stairs.  Every place in Seoul is a major fire hazard.
