Real nice, eh?  Making a name for myself with the help of half-naked Korean guys, bars in Hongdae, and Taco Bell.

coffeejusayo: i went to a tumblr meet up! seoul, aug 22nd, 2010.  Friday: I ate unlimited steak at a Brazilian Steakhouse near Apgujeong with old coworkers. Saturday: Went to pointless training for work; Tumblr meet-up at Seoul Forest (see pic); Tumblr going-out/kebab-eating/sweating in Hongdae. Sunday: Sleeep and celebrate the fact I only have two more days left of intensives!!!

tell me something interesting

I feel like I’ve seen everything the internet has to offer today, since I’ve only had to teach about 2.5 hours of the 10 that I will have spent at work today.  The kids have tests, so the bulk of it was my intensives class today.  Which was super easy and filled with adorable tiny kids I’ve already taught before.

Anything exciting going on outside of my hagwon today?

park yong-ha

Like many many Korean celebrities before him, Park Yong-Ha committed suicide yesterday.  I posted a picture of him forever ago, and saw that my hits today had gone up a crap-ton just from people googling him and ending up on my site.  People only come here to see pictures of Korean men, I guess.  I see how it is, internet.

Tumblr Meetup Seoul!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are some more and much better pics from last night.
I kept pulling out my camera last night at the tumblr meetup, thinking I would take some pics of the awesome people there, but being in a bar full of bloggers means everyone is already taking a million pictures.  So, this is the only picture I got.  The Real Eric Choi, playing the role of the drunk, slightly creepy dude who keeps hovering behind your back and saying inappropriate things.  (JK?) Anyway, it was a really good time!  A little bit trippy walking into a bar and having a ton of people you&#8217;ve never really met yell your name, but I want to thank Myra and Kelly for organizing it!  I hope to see all of you guys again.

This funky, hole-in-the-wall location is a popular for artists and musicians to congregate (so we’ve heard).  We’ve submitted the meetup info to Tumblr and should be getting an official invite soon so you guys can RSVP. We’ll also post detailed directions when it comes closer to the date. Get excited!!!
