I had my first Korean celebrity-sighting. In my hagwon.
A decently-famous TV host/comedian is sending his son to our school, and happened to be talking to our front desk girl when I went to hand her something. He looks familiar—oh. Oh? Weird.

- In my last class (notoriously my worst), one kid was being a shithead so I told him to get out. He said “no” then turned his head away. Oh hale no. I grabbed his book and threw it out in the hall and he pouted and shuffled his feet out. Brat.
- I got attacked by allergies hardcore and have a Rudolph nose from having to blow it constantly all day. :(
- I lost an earring.
- The bottom of my cardigan fell into the toilet. After I peed.
- Tomorrow I start parent-teacher conferences, which means I have to be at work as much as 4 hours early tomorrow, Friday, and three days next week.
Kill me.
Ha ha ha.
This was how I felt teaching kindergarten last year.
Is it just me or does this kid totally look like he’s smoking?!
My curriculum has a lot of questionable material.
Me: So how are you today, Sam?
Sam: …
Joshua: Sam hungry!
Sam: No, Joshua hungry!
Joshua: Sam hungred! [He can’t say “hundred”.]
Sam: No, you hundred!
Joshua: Nine hungred!
Sam: Hundred infinity!
Joshua [Doesn’t realize he lost. You can’t be infinity, duh.]: Hungred!
