Today in my youngest class, one of our words was “log”, so I showed them the classic Ren and Stimpy Log clip. It doesn’t even matter what I show them—if it’s a video on the internet, they go crazy for it.
Any suggestions for short, silly, and child-appropriate videos to show my kids when we have down-time?
Wait—(disregarding the common Korean misuse of apostrophes)—WHY is SNSD using a twelve year old iMac in the “Oh!” video? Do they think that Americans are all cheerleaders and football players that use highly-outdated technology? It’s not like those are easy to find nowadays, so the set-design people had to have sought one out. So weird.
The teacher who took over my classes made this video of some of my old kindies. I miss them! Hopefully I will be able to make it to their graduation in February.
I really like them. And by “them” I mean Doo Joon. Especially with his frosted lips and white turtle-neck tank top. Hahaha (you think I’m joking)!
This is a newish group of previous boy-band rejects, and they are lamely called BEAST. Or B2ST. I was wondering forever why B2ST is shorthand for BEAST until I realized, duh, 2 in Korean (이) is pronounced as “ee”. Who combines English and Korean, anyway? Sheesh.
If you want a quick intro to Korean culture and name brands and everything… watch this video. I can’t stop watching it. If you’re coming to Korea, familiarize yourself with everything in this song, thought it doesn’t really matter ‘cause you’ll figure it all out when you get here anyway.
this seriously sums up my daily life, thank you myra!!!!
THEY DIDN’T MENTION STARCRAFT WTF
I couldn’t stop laughing.
I’m glad that yellow dust, fan death, Choco-Boy, four seasons, kai bai bo, Pizza School, and ondol got their well-deserved mentions.
I’m catching up on all the Korean pop culture I missed out on in the past two months, and if this is representative of the rest of it, I didn’t miss much. This is the worst music video I’ve seen in my life. Seriously?
