AHHHHH I can’t handle this weather anymore. Get me out of here!!!
My life plan now includes retiring as soon as possible and moving somewhere near the equator so I never have to see the temperature go below 75. I’m so sick of this winter/not-yet-spring-business; I can’t stand it.
Oh my gosh, put me out of my misery now. It’s snowing again. Grrr.
Fo’ real. There was also a thick layer of dust on all the cars in our neighborhood this evening. This is why I was sick for two weeks. Yellow Dust Rage!!!
A huge sandstorm in Beijing caused the sky in Seoul to look like this pretty much all day today. I got up at 10:30 thinking it was still night time because the sky was so dark. I just thought it was another foggy- polluted day in Seoul, so Nadine and I met to for lunch and coffee. I came home to two face masks in my mail box and then heard the news of the Yellow Dust warning. I read that it’s pretty common here in the Spring, caused by China’s industrialization and deforestation, but this Yellow dust storm is supposed to be the worst of the year.
I guess I shouldn’t have taken that walk around the neighborhood.

I also didn’t realize this was supposed to happen until I came out of the subway around 6 and the haze had turned bright yellow. Ahh, so this is why everyone was wearing masks today! It looked really eeeeeerie. Thanks China, for making our air nasty.
Yeah, it’s snowing. Then it’s going to possibly be in the 50s on Friday. What is this, the midwest?!
I would be going out tonight for St. Patty’s, but I am boycotting snow in mid-March, and I’m still a little sick. I am seriously 진짜! so sick of winter weather. Get me out of here!
From Yahoo:
Buildings and houses are covered with snow in Seoul, South Korea, Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010. Seoul residents slogged through the heaviest snowfall in modern Korean history after a winter storm dumped more than 28 centimeters (11 inches) Monday, forcing airports to cancel flights and paralyzing traffic in South Korea’s bustling capital.
I remember always telling my students how in America, school gets cancelled a lot because of bad snow. They would get so jealous, saying that school would never get cancelled in Korea. I’m sure there were a lot of very happy kids (and teachers) this week.
